Recycling, composting and the reusing of waste in Scotland has risen to above 60% for the first time, the government is pleased the country is striding towards their target of 70% by 2025. The chief executive of Zero Waste Scotland has said they are happy with Scotland making progress towards a circular economy and have acknowledged the work done by councils and other agencies.
